Meet Jo, the force behind this unique pop-up pizza business. After proudly serving in the British Army for 22 years, Jo found herself craving a new mission – one that involved creating delightful culinary experiences and sharing her love for woodfired pizzas with the world.
Inspired by her time in the army, where precision, dedication, and camaraderie were the driving forces, Jo decided to embrace her culinary dreams and start her own pizza venture. Reminded of when the pizza truck came to base camp in Iraq and the excitement it brought for her and her comrades, she immersed herself in the art of pizza-making, learning the secrets of crafting the perfect dough, creating the perfect rich tomato sugo and growing as many ingredients as possible in the polytunnel.
Armed with her passion for food and an adventurous spirit, Jo embarked on a journey, setting up her mobile woodfired pizza oven at local events and gatherings. The sizzling aromas and mouthwatering flavours of her pizzas soon caught the attention of pizza enthusiasts far and wide.
